General Description:
The Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for providing financial and administrative in order to ensure effective, efficient and accurate financial and administrative operations.

Job Description:
The job will include, but not be limited to:
• Utilizes computerized accounting software programs to perform duties and responsibilities.
• Generates accounting statements and reports.
• Researches cash receipts, coding and posting of receipts.
• Prepares bank deposits.
• Researches and applies unallocated cash.
• Oversees client trust accounts, accounts receivable write-offs and payment reversals.
• Operates office equipment including personal computer, copiers, fax machines and 10-key calculator.
• Organizes and maintains up to date financial records.
• Provides financial and management reports.
• Maintains telephone and personal contact, staff and vendors on receivable matters as directed by manager.
• Reads, uses and is familiar with computer systems manuals and procedures, maintains and updates procedural manuals as needed.
• Assists in financial management and analysis, as requested.
• Organizes and maintains retention files for required period of time
Minimum Requirements:
High School, AA- degree in Accounting preferred
• General accounting experience required.
• Must have excellent customer service skills.
• Usually a minimum of 1 year experience in similar position
• Strong and professional communication skills (written and oral) in English
• Interpersonal skills and the ability to work well within a team environment
• Completes accounting work with a high level of accuracy
• Perseverance to see issues through to a resolution
• Must be able to work productively with minimal supervision
• Ability to manage and complete multiple responsibilities within established timeframes.
